Bio

Graduated from Drury College after getting out of the Marine Corps, then Washington University for a dental degree. Back in the service, doing two tours in Viet Nam as a Navy Dental Officer, then a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Am still in practice St Louis. Married a Parkview graduate, Sue Strong (class of 59), and we have one son, who graduated from the Naval Academy who also went into the Marine Corps. We have two grandchildren, the family living in Connecticut. We have enjoyed taking some pretty cool trips, including walking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and trekking through the Mont Blanc mountains for a couple of weeks. I climbed Mt Rainier and learned what "tired" really was. We've taken several trips to Europe to tour on motorcycles, and learned to appreciate sun. All day in the rain, on a bike, curving the Alps, really sucks. For a time I ran a bunch of marathons, including Boston, and had a best time of 2:59:24. Now I find an excuse not to walk out to the street and get the newspaper. Always liked fast cars (having driven a 52 Studebaker in high school one would not have guessed that) and motorcycles, and that continues today. Oh, almost forgot, I'm also a cop, having gone to the Police Academy with a friend a few years ago and am on one of the St Louis muni departments, in charge of firearms training.

After high school I married my school sweetheart, Patsy Wolfe & we have been married for 45 years. We have 3 sons ,1daughter & 8 granchildren. I've spent most of my life in the construction business. The last 25 years in remodeling. I took up golf a few years ago & I try to play as time permits. We like to go movies,travel,
& enjoy spending time with our family , we both are active in our church,& enjoy driving our 62-Studebaker Hawk, I think it would be nice to hear from some of my ole class mates.------see-ya Dave

Busy with many activities, Lousy golf exercising,trying to get my helath back on track, travel, enjoying 46 yrs. of marriage. Retiring slowly from Antique Business. My life has changed considerably in the past 14 months. My husband, Don, passed away in August, 2010. I could not afford to continue to live in southwest Florida so moved (in December) to Columbia to be closer (about 5 miles vs. 1200 miles) to my daughter and her family. In addition to the adjustments to the climate, I found a lot of challenges in meeting people, finding doctors, dentists, veterinarian, etc. Things are better than they were last winter. My daughter Tracy and her husband John have a 4-year-old son; it's interesting to see how fast they change!! Tracy and John are both teachers. My son Todd and his family (he and Veronica have 12-year old twin boys) live in a San Diego suburb. I hope to be able to travel out there before the snow flies here! If any classmates are in this area, please give me a call or send an e-mail. Would love to keep in touch. I was at the 50-year reunion in '08, but missed seeing a lot of you. Bette

I am retiring after 18 years at USC in the general counsel's office and moving to Tacoma, Washington, where my children and grandchildren live. I'm looking forward to be able to spend more time with them.

I work at Republic Housing Authority. I do not plan to retire anytime soon--can't believe I am 66 years old. I enjoy traveling, reading, skating, and time with my family. I have 4 children, 1 9-year old stepson, 10 grandchildren, and a great-grandson.

Leaving Springfield in l959, I came to San Antonio as a bride, and have lived in and around San Antonio ever since. I am the mother of two daughters, and 3 grandchildren, all living in San Antonio, My husband, Bob, and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in May. We are retired and enjoy time spent on the Texas Gulf coast at Rockport. Won't be able to attend the 50th reunion but would like to hear from people who attended.

I married Dave, the same one I went all through school with. We have 3 sons 1 daughter, & 8 granchildren. I've been a stay at home mom all these years and I have always enjoyed it. I am very active in my church, art group, & I play bridge with some of the girls I went to school with. Our granchildren are a big part of my life & I enjoy spending time with my husband, going on trips, or just kicking back at home..Both Dave & I are both quit new to computers, so I would like it very much if somebody I haven't heard from in a long time would write.
