Retired Special Education Teacher, BS and MS from University of Missouri.  2 children, 3 grandsons.  Married to Bruce Gale 25 years.  Loves to play golf, read, paint watercolor, graphic arts, Women's Advocate on the Board of the American Association of University Women.

My husband Bill (of 40 yrs) died in 2000 of cancer. My life goes on and I keep quite busy. I work part time as the Administrative assistant of my church (Episcopal) and enjoy it. My daughter and family lives in Yankton and has twin boys that are 6 and I have a great time with them. My son lives in Texas and has two boys also. I see them about twice a year. I enjoy traveling, playing bridge and being with friends. I live so far away from Springfield I never see anyone.....it would be fun to get together with all of you. The message board will help!!!!!

Bio

After being graduated from Parkview I attended Drury University earning a BS in Physics. I married Carol Gevecker and moved to Baltimore, Maryland attending The Johns Hopkins University. I earned a BES in Electrical Engineering a MS in Sanitary Engineering and a PhD in Environmental Engineering. While attending JHU I started the Computation Consulting Services, Inc. Most of my career has been as a professor; I retired in 2006.

After Parkview, I went to SMS and graduated in 1962 with BA in Math. I also took R.O.T.C. and went into the Army in October '62. Glenda and I were married during my junior year and we spent 15 years in the Army. We have three children, twin boys (b.1963) and a daughter (b.1966). The Army sent me to graduate school to Un of MO-Rolla in Math (1972). After tours in Germany, Vietnam and Korea we were sent to Ft Riley, KS where I was separted from active duty. I retired from the Army Reserve. After trying the insurance business, I ended up as an civilian Operations Reseacher working for the Army at Ft Leavenworth, KS. I retired from there in 2003. We moved to Claremore later that year and enjoy our church, the town and traveling, pulling a Fifth wheel trailer. I served my church in Leavenworth as a Lutheran lay minister until we moved to Claremore and am now a pew sitter. We have 6 grandchildren and enjoy visiting them, too. I do some fishing and woodworking in my spare time. Glenda is a major league quilter.

I have been retired for a number of years. My husband is also retired. We have one daughter and one grandson. They live in Herndon, Va. We are both in good health and enjoy several hobbies and some traveling.
