Support outreach Services is an organization set-up for the purpose of helping others and was created in 1997.
I have been the program coordinator since its conception.

Married Roberta Goudelock (59) in 1960; one daughter, Lori now in St Louis with 3 children. Grad from SMS in62 and went into army. Server 3, count 'em, 3 tours in Viet Nam and one in Turkey. Out in 76.

Married Cheryl Sanger at Ft. Bragg in '66; 2 children more, Kim & Tad, adding 3 more grandchildren for total of 6; 3 in St Louis, 2 in New Orleans and 1 in Austin. Keeps us busy getting around to see all of them.

Retired now, serve on Board of Directors of local VFD, and play with small farm.

As a newly minted Civil Engineering grad from the University of Missouri - Rolla (the Missouri School of Mines when I started) I joined the Air Force in 1965 as an engineering officer. I had tours in Thailand (helped build a B-52 base in support of the Viet Nam effort), Puerto Rico, and a year above the Arctic Circle in Greenland as well as on bases in the States. My wife, Jan, was a teacher at Phelps elementary when we met and we married in 1969. We have two children, a daughter and a son, and a wonderful granddaughter and grandson. We just celebrated our 39th anniversary. I spent twenty years in the Air Force and earned a master's degree in Systems Management from USC along the way. I retired in 1985 from Headquarters Strategic Air Command at Offutt AFB Nebraska and took the job of General Manager of the Council Bluffs Water Works right cross the river from Omaha in Iowa. Since then the city has grown and prospered thanks to a dog track and three first-class casinos. The wages of sin are very profitable. In 1996 acute liver and kidney failure almost ended my life and I was blessed to receive a liver transplant and a new lease on life. I stepped down from the general manager job in 2001 and became a consultant. I retired-retired in 2003 and am active in the community serving on several agency boards and the local senior center board of directors. I am the secretary of our Bookfellows book club. My golf game needs much improvement and suffers from lack of practice. I can still take my grandson fishing but avoid politics and the TV news to keep my blood pressure under control. Hope to see many of you at the 50th reunion.

Retired Real Estate Loan Officer and Broker. Husband, residential builder. Enjoy our family, (twin grandsons, age 15 and granddaughter, age 4) traveling to the beach, and spending time with friends........still play bridge with 7 of the girls in our class. Love the PHS monthly breakfast....GREAT way to stay in touch!!

My husband Bill (of 40 yrs) died in 2000 of cancer. My life goes on and I keep quite busy. I work part time as the Administrative assistant of my church (Episcopal) and enjoy it. My daughter and family lives in Yankton and has twin boys that are 6 and I have a great time with them. My son lives in Texas and has two boys also. I see them about twice a year. I enjoy traveling, playing bridge and being with friends. I live so far away from Springfield I never see anyone.....it would be fun to get together with all of you. The message board will help!!!!!

I attended Drury College for two years, then Missouri School of Mines, graduating with a BSChE in 1963. I married Nancy Turton (Parkview '59) in 1961. We just celebrated our 46th anniversary! After graduation from Rolla, we moved to Orange, TX where I worked for E I DuPont de Nemours for seven years. In 1969 I joined Amerada Hess and we moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Croix). By 1976 we were back in Texas where I was working with Fluor Engineers. I have continued with Fluor for the past 31 years. During these years with Fluor I was assigned in Rochester, NY for four years, then relocated to Fluor's Greenville, SC office for two years. I am currently in their Sugar Land, TX complex. Our daughter, Michelle, 43, and her husband are both anesthesiologists and they have two daughters, Mackenzie, 11, and Morgan, 9. Our son, Brent, (41) and his wife, Stacey, have two sons, Cameron, 5, and Christian, 1. Brent is a cost scheduling manager working for Vetco-Gray, an offshore undersea fabrication division of GE. Stacey is a senior administrative assistant working for an attorney. We are so fortunate that our children and grandchildren live in the Houston/Sugar Land area. We enjoy being together for family times.

I never ran into many members of the 58 class after graduation. I worked as a soft drink bottler, tire recapper, beer salesman, supervisor at Zenith and finally retired after 28 years at Kraft foods!
Shortly after I retired Ed Rogers and Ron Snow looked me up and invited me to the class breakfasts at shoneys. I went, had a great time, met several classmates enjoyed them all, and made plans to be a regular down there. The next thing I know, my wife packs me up and moves me to Texas to be with the kids, and the long waited for Grandchildren!
The next time i'm in Springfield I' intend try to make it to the breakfast again. See ya there!

I married (Clara Stenger class of 57 Central Sept. 1959 still togather after all this time. We have two daughters & one son. Who gave us Five granddaughters & three grandsons we are both retired and enjoying it.

Married to Elaine (Tewell '59) for 40 years. Still working as Safety/Loss Prevention Dir for an ins. co. No plans to retire. One daughter, one grandson 6. Like John Larimer, life has been "One Hell of a Ride!" Older than dirt now, but still enjoy a few Buds.

Widowed in '70 - live close to my two sons, one dau., three grandsons & one granddaughter. I'm a Realtor with RE/MAX Lake Cities (appr. 20 min. North of Dallas) - originally licensed in '77. Stay busy with work (love it), my family (basketball, soccer, etc.) and volunteer at Denton County Jail. If I could figure out how to retire one day, I would live on the nearest golf course! :o)

Married second time around 10 years ago. Mother of 3, Grandmother of 2 boys and loving retirement after teaching 25 years. Live in Tucson, AZ part time where we hike, bike, golf, and still play tennis. Travel lots and rest little!
